I've known Kristin Jorgenson since I was a buyer, and she was a rep. It's been a quarter century now. Over those years, I've known Kristin as a rep and a broker; an employee and an employer; a demo person and a National Educator. Throughout it all, she's been the same consistent professional. She always comes prepared. She knows her stuff, does her homework, and represents her brands with a depth of knowledge and expertise that is almost unparalleled in this industry. She's organized, and follows through on everything. She can talk to greenhorn buyers, seasoned department managers, scientists, and medical doctors with equal unflappable comfort and grace. There is a symmetry and a fairness to her dealings: she is equally of service to the greenhorn clerk, the department manager, the store owner – and the brands she represents. Like all good reps, she knows when to push, and when to stop pushing. She maintains connected and welcome across the industry, and (this is the big litmus test for me), will continue to forward e-mails and be of service even to brands even when she is no longer affiliated with them. What else can I say? It's been a quarter-century. Kristin continues to be welcome, and respected, in our store.
